2.Jasper Jerome Curtis-Enlisted on June
  20,1861 at Christiansville. He was
  killed at Spotsylvania Court House 1864

  Hospital in Richmond, Henrico Co.Va.

7.William Carter Curtis-was an officer
  and company commander of Co.F,the
  Chambliss Grays of the 14th Va.in the
  Battle of Gettysburg during Pickett's
  Charge. He was wounded at Malvern Hill
  and again at Gettysburg.(Co.F was the
  only Company to reach the stone wall.
  He walked from Gettysburg to Richmond,
  gangrene settled in his arm,and he cut
  his own arm off above the gangrene.
  When he arrived in Ricmond they had to
  cut more off.
